About Me
My journey in the mental health field began with yoga and yoga remains one of my own key medicines that I return to again again to regain balance amidst any storms I may encounter -big or small.

One of the elements of my yoga practice that I endeavor to bring to my work as a counsellor includes supporting ways in which to reconnect with ourselves and into our bodies. In reconnecting to ourselves, we can tap into the innate wisdom we need to create a life that reflects, honours and aligns with who we are.

As in yoga as well, I support my clients in using tools that help us to take a step back from being overhwhelmed by or stuck in circumstances by becoming the "observer" of our own thoughts so that we can redirect ourselves in more beneficial ways.

My approach is integrative and I use narrative interventions, EMDR as well as tools to regulate the nervous system to help you re-design your thought patterns, behaviour, relationships and life in a direction that is more aligned with what fulfills you.
​
As with yoga, mental wellness is a practice and it ebbs and flows; we can deepen our connection to ourselves and expand our experience as much or as little as we choose... I am here to support, offer tools and provide a space for you to explore your connection with yourself.
